Therapy...
Marriage and Family Therapists are licensed by the State of California. They must undergo extensive education, training, clinical fieldwork and pass two rigorous exams to demonstrate professional competency.
Treatment from a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist is cost-effective and practical.
Marriage and Family Therapists are covered by the psychotherapist-patient privilege. Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT's) are Psychotherapists, with the specific focus on how an individual relates to his/her world. In other words, LMFT's consider the whole person and how he/she exists within that system.
Christina Neumeyer, a married mother of two, is a psychotherapist in private practice (Carlsbad, California). Receiving her Master's Degree from from the University of San Diego in 1995, she has many years working in Social Services.
